Grainger Leo’Allen Yurevich was born on February 17, 2005. He is the son of Greg and Gina Yurevich. He has two siblings, Gigi and Ella Yurevich. Grainger is involved in Pep Club and is also a part of the Woodland High School Baseball and Basketball teams. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Balzer and Ms. Braswell. Grainger’s favorite staff quote that has stuck with him throughout high school is, “stop doing that or you get paragraphs.”
When asked if Yurevich could travel anywhere in the world he said he would go to Alaska. As a child, Grainger wanted to be a professional baseball player, he now plans to attend Morton College and to play baseball and major in business. His favorite high school memory is, “pitching against Van Buren and drinking red lines with Seth.” The thing he will miss most about high school is getting to spend time around his friends and high school sports.
When asked his thoughts about graduating, Grainger says, “I’m excited to move on.” His advice to underclassmen is the quote “if you wait until last minute, it only takes one.” Yurevich’s biggest accomplishment so far has been getting his college baseball scholarship. The person who has had the greatest influence on Grainger has been Trenton Braswell.
Grainger would like to give his shoutout to his family, friends, coaches, and teachers.
