Chayce Allen Eldridge was born September 3, 2005. He is the son of Don and Misti Barks. Chayce has three siblings, Shayne, Wynter, and Fayth Barks. His favorite teacher is Mr. Shrum because he loves his teaching method. His favorite staff quote that has stuck with him throughout high school is “the more you read it, the more you write it, the more you know it.”
Three words that describe Chayce are hardworking, determined, and social. If he could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Colorado because he loves the snow and the cold. His favorite school memory is creating life-long friendships. Chayce’s most embarrassing high school memory was, “When my shorts fell down while jump roping in front of the whole high school.” When Chayce was a child, he wanted to be in the army when he grew up, now Chayce plans on going straight into the workforce after high school, specifically going into HVAC. His advice to younger classmates is “Stay on top of your homework and don’t let it pile up.” When asked how he feels about graduation, Chayce says, “I am so ready to graduate and get to work.” The thing Chayce will miss the most about high school is all his friends. The person who has had the greatest influence on Chayce is his dad because he pushes him to do his best at everything. Chayce’s biggest accomplishment is getting into CTC for HVAC.
