Dalton Elliot Cook was born July 17, 2006. His parents are Jason and Meghan Cook. Dalton has two siblings: Jaghan Cook and Addison Kempfer. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Newell, Mr. Boyer, Mrs. Koehler, Mrs. Jen, Mrs. Megan, Mrs. Stegeman, Ms. P, and Mrs. Booth. “They have all pushed and put up with me and made sure that I made it to my senior year to graduate.” Three words Dalton would use to describe himself are thoughtful, caring, and hilarious. When asked what his favorite high school memory was, he said his junior year when Mrs. Newell let him drive around in a motorized wheelchair all day for anything but a backpack day. His most embarrassing high school memory is when he broke Mrs. Jill’s clipboard and he tried to fix it but couldn’t, so Mrs. Newell gave him a new clipboard to give to her and Jill still thinks Dalton fixed it.
When asked what his plans are after high school, he said to become a diesel mechanic/technician. His advice to underclassmen is don’t do drugs and push through it and make the most of your high school career. When Dalton was asked what his extracurricular activities were, he stated “running to the lunchroom every day.” When asked how he felt about graduating he says “excited, can’t come soon enough.” What Dalton will miss most about high school is hanging out with his friends. The people that have had the greatest influence on his life are his parents, they have both been there with him through everything, they pushed him to continue his high school career and have stood by his side. Dalton feels his biggest accomplishment so far is making it to his senior year.
