Ellsie Sophia- Faith Wilkinson was born on March 17, 2006, to parents Andy and Nickie Wilkinson. Ellsie has one sibling: Audrey Wilkinson. Ellsie’s Favorite teacher is Mrs. Layton because she has gone out of her way to help her further her experience in occupational therapy and is always encouraging, supportive, and “just so freaking cool.” Also, Ms. Braswell because she always puts others before herself and is “the realest person I know.” Ellsie’s favorite staff quote is” You’re my babies,” Mrs. Hinkle. Three words she would use to describe herself are “compassionate, selfless, and a hoarder.” Ellsie’s favorite high school memory is anytime during advisory (Weenie Wednesdays, advisory ball, injury ball, watching different variations of boxing, and Merlin’s lessons and drawings.) Ellsie’s most embarrassing high school memory was “Having to run to the bus as it was leaving the school in front of everyone with London, Jase and Brea for Community Friday.”
When Ellsie was a child, she wanted to own a bakery, she now plans to attend school to become a pediatric occupational therapy assistant. She will attend Three Rivers Community College and go into the occupational therapy assistant program. Ellsie is involved in Beta, FBLA, FCCLA, FCA, and Pep Club. She is also a member of the Girls Basketball team. Elsie’s advice to underclassman is “Don’t stress over minor things because it most likely is not that deep so just have fun and worry less.” When asked how she felt about graduating she said she was excited to start a new chapter in her life and gain her independence, but also sad because she wouldn’t see her friends every day. After graduation Ellsie will miss seeing her friends and her cadet teaching class. When asked what person has had the greatest influence on you Ellsie responded with her mom because “she has always been there for me without judgment making her unconditional love known. She has taught me how to be civil, stand up for myself, and overall, how to be me.” Ellsie’s biggest accomplishment so far is getting to cadet teach for the occupational therapist at school, which expanded her passion for the profession.”
