Picture of Andrew Sitze

Andrew Paul Sitze was born on September 27, 2005, to Paul and Ashley Sitze. Andrew has one sibling, Kolten Sitze. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Hinkle and Ms. Braswell because they have taught him to think compassionately and confidently. His favorite staff quote comes from Mrs. Hinkle, “You are not dropping out of high school.” Three words Andrew would use to describe himself are intelligent, neighborly, and supportive. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would travel to the Atacama Desert because their sunsets are particularly beautiful. His favorite high school memory is winning the homecoming dance with his class. His most embarrassing high school memory is when he tried to hurdle a graveyard fence and ended up tripping in front of his whole class.

When Andrew was a child, he wanted to be a zoologist, he now plans to attend Mineral Area College to eventually become a clinical psychologist. Andrew participates in BETA, FBLA, FCCLA, FCA, PEP club, and the track and field team. His advice to underclassmen is “enjoy, appreciate, and try to make the most of high school while it lasts.” When asked how he feels about graduating he stated, “I feel like high school has flown by, but I am looking forward to the next stage of my life.” Andrew says the thing he will miss the most about high school is his friends and teachers. The people who have had the greatest influence on his life are his mom and dad. His dad has taught him to be selfless and hardworking, and his mom has taught him to be compassionate and gentle towards others. Andrew’s greatest accomplishment so far in his life is becoming a better person each day.
