Hayden Alexander VanGennip was born on March 2, 2007. His parents are Alisa and Alex VanGennip. Hayden has two siblings Lane and Alexsa VanGennip. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Page because she is his advisory auntie. His favorite staff quote comes from Mr. Layton, “YOGLOT: you only get to live one time.” Three words Hayden would use to describe himself are fast, handsome, and cunning. If he could travel anywhere in the world he would travel everywhere because he wants to see as many places as he can before he dies. Hayden's favorite school memory was winning state. His most embarrassing high school memory was getting pulled out of a volleyball pep club by his dad because he had two F’s.
When Hayden was a child, he wanted to be a sniper for the military. He now plans to attend college and study for a biology degree with an emphasis in either EXP medical, Forestry or Agricultural. Hayden is involved in FBLA, Beta, FFA, FCA, and Pep club. He participates in cross country, basketball, and track. His advice to underclassmen is “Make sure to work hard, but most importantly try and have fun to make the most out of these four short years.” Hayden is kind of sad that his high school career is already over, but nervous and excited to see what's next. He will miss the sports and the bonds he has with everyone the most from high school. Hayden’s greatest influence is his dad because he always pushes him to be better and no one believes in him like his dad does. He feels his biggest accomplishment so far is winning 800 at state.
