Abigail Jordan Senior Picture

Abigail Nichole Jordan was born on January 7, 2007. She is the daughter of Christopher and Brandi Jordan and has three siblings: Faith, Colton, and Essie. One of Abigail's favorite teachers is Mrs. Randecker. Abigail says, “She was my advisory teacher while she taught here, and she always made an effort to get to know us and hold us accountable.” Another favorite teacher is Mrs. Layton. Abigail expresses, “She is the teacher I look up to most, and I’ve missed not having her classes during my senior year.” One of Abigail's favorite quotes from staff comes from Mr. Layton: “What do you do with your life now that you don’t do sports?” Abigail describes herself in three words: strong-willed, generous, and blonde. Abigail is involved in several extracurriculars, including FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), BETA Club, and PEP Club. Her advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t revolve your life around friends, because, like everything else, they fade away. Instead, push yourself to be the best version of you and focus on your future.” Her biggest accomplishment during high school is working at Greens Flea Market since she was 15 and staying strong in her faith throughout all hardships.

If Abigail could travel anywhere in the world, it would be to Greece so she could ride a donkey up the stairs. Her favorite school memory is from her 10th-grade art class with Mr. Randecker. In contrast, her most embarrassing moment in high school occurred when Mrs. Balzer called her out of class to interrogate her about her brother's essay. Mrs. Balzer suspected that Abigail had completed the essay for him. Now she laughs about it with Colton. P.S. I seriously didn’t write it.” When Abigail was younger, she wanted to be a pediatrician, she now plans to attend a community college online while continuing to work. She intends to further her education after obtaining her associate’s degree. As Abigail prepares to start a new chapter in her life and gain independence, she acknowledges that she will dearly miss her friends and family after graduation.

Among the people who have had the greatest influence on her, Abigail cites her mom. “My mom is the definition of perseverance. She persevered even when she thought she couldn’t anymore, doing it for us kids. I am so glad to have my mom still here today; she is my reason and my best friend. I love you, Mom.” Abigail also names her dad as a significant influence in her life. “My dad embodies Proverbs 22:6. He is a faithful man of God, and I am grateful to have been raised in a Christian household. I love you, Dad.”
