Bryer Matthew Scott Sauls was born on July 15, 2006. His parents are Kyle and Jackie Sauls, and he has two siblings: Kenny and Bryson. Bryer's favorite teacher is Mrs. Jen because she always plays Uno with him after he finishes his work. One of his favorite quotes from staff that has stuck with him throughout high school is, "We are like fire-breathing dragons." The three words that best describe Bryer are hardworking, out-of-pocket, and fun to be around. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would return to the Philippines to check on all the friends he made there. His favorite high school memory is when he was in the process of asking his girlfriend, Mia, to the barn-warming dance. During that process, he accidentally broke the side mirror off her car and handed it back to her after she agreed to go with him.
When Bryer was little, he wanted to be a police officer, but now he aspires to attend welding school. He is involved in clubs such as Beta and FCA, and he participates in sports including cross country, basketball, and track and field. His advice to underclassmen is to simply do their work. As graduation approaches, Bryer feels happy but will miss sports and his teachers the most. His father has been a great influence on him, always being there when he needed support and holding him to a high standard. Bryer’s biggest accomplishment so far is winning state championships for two consecutive years.
