Samuel Joseph Tuttleton was born to Don and Tamra Tuttleton on February 7, 2007. He has one sibling, Lauren Tuttleton. Samuel’s favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell because “she encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and challenges and supports me to be the best version of myself.” His favorite staff quote comes from Mr. Layton: “Just know, I’m rootin’ for ya.” In three words, Samuel would describe himself as hardworking, kind, and intelligent. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would choose Japan for its technology, baseball, and food. One of his favorite school memories is running for Student Council President/Vice President with Caiden. His most embarrassing high school memory occurred during his freshman year when he participated in his advisory’s introduction video and shouted in a squeaky voice.
As a child, Samuel wanted to be a major league baseball player when he grew up. After high school, he plans to study astronautical aerospace engineering at either Mississippi State University or Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is involved in Beta Club, Pep Club, FCA, and Student Council. Samuel plays baseball and participates in both cross country and track and field. His advice to underclassmen is, “Turn in your work on time, don’t get into trouble, and enjoy your time in high school because it goes by fast.” While Samuel has mixed emotions about graduating, he is happy to start a new chapter in his life. He will miss Beta trips with Braz and hanging out with his friends the most about high school. His greatest influences have been his parents, who “have always supported me in everything that I am a part of.” Samuel feels that his biggest accomplishment so far is being in the top ten percent of his class while actively participating in sports and clubs.
