Tyler Blake Cureton was born on April 15, 2007, to Jason Cureton and Lacie Davis. His step-parents are Sasha Cureton and Gregg Davis. Tyler’s siblings are Rylee, Jason, Jacob, Syler, Amiya, Emerson, Elliot, Kyson, and Blair. Tyler's favorite teachers are Mrs. Balzer and Mrs. Steg because they always have faith in him and express how proud they are of his efforts. Three words that describe Tyler are hardworking, eager, and ambitious; he dreams of going to Colorado for its scenic beauty and job opportunities. When he was younger, he wanted to become an Army Ranger, but now he plans to attend the Universal Technical Institute in Lisle to study Automotive and Diesel Technology.
Tyler advises underclassmen to pursue job and school opportunities out of town to build a successful future for themselves. As he approaches graduation, he feels ready, although he will miss some teachers and seeing his friends every day. Mrs. Balzer has had the greatest impact on Tyler because she always encourages him to do his best and succeed in his endeavors. Tyler considers getting accepted into trade school as his greatest accomplishment.
