Lia Irie Fain was born on February 27, 2007, to Samantha Bowen and Jason Elbrecht. She has two siblings: Seth Elbrecht and River Fain. Her favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell because she is a hardworking "girl boss." Three words Lia would use to describe herself are iconic, skibidi, and emo. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Japan because it is far from America, very beautiful, and she thinks it would be a cool place to visit. Her favorite school memory was simply not attending school. When she was a child, she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. After high school, Lia plans to take the rest of the year to work. If that goes well, she will continue working, but if not, she will either take online classes or attend classes in St. Louis to become a pet groomer.
Lia is involved in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and Speech. Her advice to underclassmen is to work hard during their freshman year, as it will make the following years much easier. When asked how she feels about graduating, she said, "Kind of sad, kind of relieved." One thing Lia will miss about high school is Chicken Patty Wednesday. The person who has had the biggest influence on her is Jespn. She says, "He has made me come out of my shell and really be able to open up and not be so closed off with people." Lia feels that her biggest accomplishment so far was finishing the FBLA presentation at the last minute and winning.
