Good afternoon,
The Woodland R-IV School District did have a fire alarm activated in the school district this morning. We evacuated the students for approximately 15 minutes until it was determined a heating and air conditioning unit was setting off the alarm. The heating and air conditioning system was checked for issues and we reset the alarm system. Both systems worked properly and we brought the students back into the building to resume classes.
Today students in grades 10-12 attended the Build My Future event in Poplar Bluff. Students had the opportunity to connect with over 50 companies and training facilities in the trade industry.
